RecommendedJust got home from our annual trip to Sara’s campground in Erie. Had another wonderful 4 days. Very clean, cheerful , helpfull. Beach getting smaller but the sights and sounds cannot be beat. Thanks to the owners and all involved all had a great time adults teenagers and kids.
Tent stay Thursday-Sunday night. 3 nights on the wooded side and 1 on the beach side. With our family of 5 (kids 8,5,1) the wooded area was perfect. Cool, quiet, and low traffic. The showers were pristine. Mid day on the beach my 8 year old let me know he was looking forward to his evening shower. We enjoyed the evening fires and the trails through the woods. The owner refused to resolve an issue where the next site had their RV on about 30% of our space. We left for the morning and when we came back the RV was positioned over our already very small spot. I asked to move to a new spot or have a refund of the days we are inconvenienced. She refused both of those solutions. The campground is overcrowded and the sites don’t fit RVs. It’s not camping.

When you gave our office a call this afternoon/early evening, we came over to your campsite right away to discuss your concerns with you. Yes, the guest camping on the site next to you has their tip-out over the cement pad encroaching on part of the gravel/airspace of the site you are on. We had a great time! Everything you need or want is at Sara’s
Close to the state park. Friendly staff,never had anyone guide us to our spot, clean bathrooms. Very cooperative office staff. Our camping neighbors very friendly. Great time
Ok for the in and out crowd. Everything else is clickie as can be. Guilty until proven innocent.
Well kept campground and accommodating hosts. Can't beat the beach vibe here.
