RecommendedA big shout out to Santiam Hospital today. I just had a preventative procedure there. The staff made the experience awesome. Can’t imagine better care! Also, they are a leader in the community and support so many positive things as you can see on their social media sites. We are blessed with good health care in America, and Santiam Hospital is a local gem. Kudos to staff and leadership who make that happen. Check ‘em out when you need them next!

Daughter has temp over 103, high pulse was told by urgent care doctor to go to ER immediately. The nurse that took vitals was extremely rude and did not give a crap about how horrible my daughter felt. We have been sitting in the hallway for over and hour and still have not seen the doctor and they have no idea how much longer the wait will be. We should have gone to Silverton Hospital!!
I experienced friendly people doing their jobs well.
My disabled sister went there last night with alcohol poisoning. The people who helped her inside dropped her on the sidewalk. Then she was brushed off for checking for a stroke, as she has them often and is not supposed to drink. Instead of treating her with things other ERs would have, such as anti nausea, saline, electrolytes, she was disregarded and they even didn't give her her daily medications before discharging. I understand this is a cheap hospital and maybe with little supplies, but you should all be ashamed of you... read more

Never had a bad experience here. Took my husband to the ER today for major back pain. We walked in, was instantly checked in and was in a room 5 minutes later. my husband ended up having Kidney stones. the staff and Doctor went above and beyond. Love this town!
They are very friendly. They usually never keep you waiting very long for an appointment.
Back a few years ago I had a small stroke and fell down the stairs and hurt my leg. needless to say it was very painful and every move I made was igushirating. I know I spelled that wrong. but the Male nurse yelled at me to stop screaming, instead maybe giving something for the pain. I use to say they were the best hospital and would go there before Salem hospital. Well not anymore.
Great staff that makes a patient comfortable at times when patients often feel uneasy. Their personal treatment helps avoid the institutional feel so common in larger hospitals. Good experience.
my son had surgery today with Dr. thorsett, the staff was amazing. Kevin the nurse was amazing with my son, gave him a toy which he hasn't let down. thank you all
