Dr. Sathpathy is a truly exceptional psychiatrist. I make this statement, based on my experience, as a former professional, who managed a group of Psychiatrists; and as a former patient of Psychiatrists. Working with Dr. Sathpathy has been extremely helpful for me. I have a brain infection and a tricky psychotropic regimen. My goal is to try and reduce the amount of medicine I take. Enjoyed being able to have a virtual visit for a routine check-in. As always, felt Dr Sathpathy listened well, asked good questions, and cared about my unique needs.
Dr. Sathpathy asked me detailed questions and I didn't feel rushed. He was patient in answering all of my questions about medication. Overall positive experience.

I had multiple visits with Dr Sathpathy. He cares about his patients and really wants to improve the their health. He is assertive yet willing to listen to the patients and discuss options. The office staff is very friendly and effective. I really appreciate doctor and his team to help me go through this very difficult period of my life. Highly recommend!
He is very kind. That's it. He does not have confidence to make diagnoses on his own and admitted that in a conversation. He relies on either a partial hospitalization program (2-3 weeks of all day care) OR evaluations from a neruopsychologist. Somehow, he cannot rely on his own knowledge to diagnose an individual. If he doesn't have confidence in himself, I cannot have confidence in him.
