Dr. Gupta is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon, whom I trust. He is knowledgeable and competent; he treats his patients with the utmost respect, as well as with empathy.Dr. Gupta's physician assistants are very efficient and the office staff is consistently pleasant and respectful. The office seems to be well managed, as evidenced by the ease of scheduling appointments and how promptly phone calls are returned.

I saw Dr. Gupta a couple of years ago for a consult about hip replacement surgery. He was rude, arrogant, and abrupt. He did not generate the persona of somebody who cared about helping me feel better. He made some insulting and statements to me about my weight and how that would affect my surgery. As a result, I found somebody at the hospital for special surgery in Stamford. He went out of his way to make sure that I got the safest procedure, considering that I am slightly overweight. Consistently impressed with Dr Gupta and every staff person that has helped me at Orthopaedic Specialists of CT in Brookfield. From my first visit to my most recent, from the front desk staff to Dr. Gupta, the Physicians Assistants and Radiologists, my experience has been very positive.

Dr. Gupta is a very good doctor. However, I was 10 minutes early for my appt. of 11am. I was not brought back until 11:20. The doctor did not come into the exam room until 11:40. He spent exactly 4 minutes. I went for x-rays. The doctor did not return until 12. He apologized for keeping me waiting. I just feel the patient should be kept aware if the doctor is running late. It's just a courtesy.

Dr Gupta is disrespectful of patients, will not answer questions and rushes appointments. I also did not understand why on two occasions I was told to remove both my pants & underwear for exam & procedure. Doctor I moved to after being dissatisfied with Gupta, did not require underwear removal for any of the exact same exams or procedure. Dr Gupta wanted to jump immediately to surgery prior to pain management options. Dr. Gupta and his staff couldn't have been more comforting from the very first visit to surgery date and beyond. Answered all my questions with patience and assurance. Walked me thru every step to make sure I understood and was comfortable. Follow up afterwards was excellent. Dr. Gupta, his office and Lighthouse staff was amazing!

Dr. Gupta clearly explained the process of knee replacement surgery and the operation was very successful. His Physicians Assistant, Kurt Dubay is outstanding. Kurt met with me on a regular basis and guided me through the follow up steps after the surgery.

In the last 6 months I have had a right hip replacement and a left hip replacement with Dr Gupta. I have been super satisfied with both outcomes and the process that Dr Gupta and his team uses. The surgical center people and facilities are awesome. The pain management worked great and the PT, while sometimes challenging, has resulted in a great recovery. I think Dr Gupta is an amazing person and DR and would highly recommend him to anyone needing hip surgery.
