Dr. Gupta performed my 2nd knee replacement. My first replacement was done 8 years ago at HSS in NYC. The preparation, surgery experience and recovery experience did not go well. That is why it took 8 years to have the courage to have my other knee replaced. The difference between the two? Dr. Gupta was kind to me and showed me what was wrong and that I needed a knee replacement. He got right to the point, which I appreciate. My TKR went well and he saw me before and after the procedure. My follow-up visits were with his PA.

I received a total hip replacement from Dr. Gupta and everything went very well. I also had a left knee replacement in 2023 that he performed. Both surgeries were total successes. Thank you Dr. Gupta!
Dr Gupta perform TKR on both left and right knees. He is a genius! I was able to have both surgeries done five weeks apart!
Dr. Gupta is a good surgeon but l was appalled by his treatment of me as a woman, a human being and a paying patient. He was clearly disgusted by my weight and looked me up and down as if l was not even a real, feeling person. He has no idea what caused my weight gain but judged me very harshly. Excellent Dr. Gupta, his P.A. and nursing and administrative staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Dr. Gupta was able to give me a new hip after I was suffering terrible hip pain. I am now pain free!
I feel fortunate to have had Dr. Gupta as my surgeon for total knee replacement. I was very happy and confident from the beginning of the process because he was attentive and thorough. I felt very comfortable with him and found him approachable and personable. My confidence in him made it a less stressful process. The surgery went great and my recovery has been excellent. I would highly recommend Dr. Gupta. You’d be in excellent hands.
