Mr. Manes efficiently and effectively assisted me in this goal. He provided superior legal advise for me and me businesses.
I am a nonresident with a vacation home in California and like a lot of nonresidents got audited by California's FTB, claiming I was a resident. Several hundred thousand dollars was at stake. Sanger and Manes's expertise was evident from the start, and audit resulted in a complete victory for me. The firm's handling of my residency tax issues was comprehensive.
Beware - Mr. Chris Manes is unprofessional and rude. I was being nice and just inquiring what he would do for over $10,000-15,000.00 since my mother's estate is only her house. We were discussing his fees and he told me to get someone else if I didn't want to pay him AND HE HUNG UP ON ME. I would not recommend hiring this jerk.
