LOVED it!!! The amuse-bouche was delicious (smoked trout custard). I had the goat cheese tortellini (yum) and the grilled elk with maple polenta & mushroom ragu and tart cherries. My husband had the pear & Roquefort tart, the poached apple salad (the mint garlic dressing was amazing), the strauss veal loin! Years ago, we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Sanford. We went back to celebrate our 32nd last week – and had the most wonderful dinner of all time. Every item so original and perfectly prepared. The grilled pear and roquefort tart, the smoked duck breast appetizer, the beet soup, the fennel dusted beef tenderloin, and let's please not forget the bittersweet Hawaiian vintage chocolate tart (!).
