What a complete and AMAZING experience. The atmosphere is cozy and very welcoming. Our waiter thought of every detail and was intentional about making our dining experience special. I have never been to a place that was more accommodating. Best of all though, the food. Course after course was flavorful and beautifully presented. We will go again and again, I'm sure of it.
The Elk and Beef Tenderloin are both incredible. Seasonal variations accompany the Elk and each time we remain impressed. The desserts are made fresh and our favorite is the Banana run butterscotch tart. Fabulous!
What more can be said about this amazing restaurant? It is truly one of the very best dining experiences! Food is unbelievable. The elk is like butta!! Others in my party had the duck, also marvelous. The only negative is that I have to wait a whole year before I'm back in Milwaukee to eat at Sanford again.
Absolutely the best around. You feel like you are being welcomed into the home of good friends. Every single person who stopped at our table was impeccable, professional, and oozed how much they loved their job. This can be hard to find at other restaurants, but I don't call this a restaurant it is an experience that happens to serve you delectable eatables:)
We went here for our 1st anniversary and I would recommend it to anyone. The food was amazing, the service was above and beyond and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be going back!
Cozy setting, stellar service without being stuffy, every morsel well executed and delicious. There are restaurants where preparations look beautiful, are complex, but the flavors don't come together. At Sanford that was absolutely NOT the case - their dishes from appetizers to dessert were gorgeous and mouth watering preparations. Thank you!
