His undergraduate studies were at the University of Illinois and he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1976. After graduating from Dental School he completed a general practice residency at Northwestern's V.A. Lakeside hospital with emphasis on restorative dentistry and medicine. I sought out a 2nd opinion with Dr. Barr. I was impressed by his knowledge and experience. I ended up switching dentists and will now be joining his practice.

Dr Barr is the best dentist in the Midwest.I have been going to him for 40 years.His equipment is the state of the art,The staff is very nice and helpful.They always honor their appointments and never make you wait.I have recommended Dr Barr to several people and they are delighted with him.He is rated as one of the best dentists in the Midwest.

Have been going to Marianne for years, and while I've never gotten used to getting teeth cleaned or dental work in general, she is the best in terms of care, making sure the patient is comfortable, and having it be a positive even fun experience... her laugh and positive attitude are contagious. Live this practice!!
Dr. Barr has been great to me over the twenty years that i have known him. I love that he keeps updated with new technology and quality services. He and his staff are worth the cost. I feel confident that my teeth and gums are healthy and will last me a long time.
