His undergraduate studies were at the University of Illinois and he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1976. After graduating from Dental School he completed a general practice residency at Northwestern's V.A. Lakeside hospital with emphasis on restorative dentistry and medicine. Happiness is knowing you will be cared for when 2 front teeth fall out at lunch! Not only did Dr. Barr take care of the problem, but Maureen insisted on seeing me and my walker downstairs to a taxi despite my protestations that I could manage alone. Wonderful.
The staff is very professional and click right in on every level. My headache is gone and I can now sink my teeth into the next challenge.

Staff is always professional, you know they are taking care of you and they care about you.
Dr. Barr knows what he's doing, and demonstrates an authentic caring attitude to his patients, or at least to me. His team is great. I've had a lot of issues, and he's been very helpful in guiding me to other specialists (endodontists, periodontists, etc.) to get tough problems fixed. He's also sensitive to cost issues (although he's not cheap). Good guy.
Unquestionably, Dr Barr and his staff could rate 100 stars if you offered that many. I’ve been seeing Dr Barr for over 40 years and have only been 100% satisfied the entire time.
