His undergraduate studies were at the University of Illinois and he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1976. After graduating from Dental School he completed a general practice residency at Northwestern's V.A. Lakeside hospital with emphasis on restorative dentistry and medicine. Dr. Barr fit me in soon after my surgery to fix dental problems that were caused by a medical procedure. This was done very timely and very well. Much appreciated to get me in before Thanksgiving so I could enjoy the feast.

I have been a patient of Dr. Barr for over 10 years and recently had to have crown work done. Very impressed with Dr. Barr's professionalism and his technical skill. 90 minutes from start to finish, just as they promised, and no complications. His staff also very professional and friendly. Dr. Barr even followed up with me by phone afterward just to be sure I was OK. Not many doctors, let alone dentists, take that extra step.
