His undergraduate studies were at the University of Illinois and he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1976. After graduating from Dental School he completed a general practice residency at Northwestern's V.A. Lakeside hospital with emphasis on restorative dentistry and medicine. The thing I like most about Dr. bar is that I never feel like he’s trying to push services at me. Also, his hygienist Laura, is wonderful. I was referred to this Dennis by a friend of mine and I’m so grateful.
Dr. Barr & staff are exceptional. I always feel so much better after seeing Dr. Barr. He has taken away the fear I had for seeing a dentist ( from childhood dentist nightmares).
I was greeted with warm friendly faces. That means a lot when you’re a new patient. The service was great. I’ll glad to be part of the family.

Cheryl always does a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth and explaining all procedures. She is an amazing hygienist. I feel very fortunate to have her and Dr. Barr as my dental "team".
