Stay away from this company. They came on time to fix my water heater. They fixed it and this is where the story should end. About six hours after they left, my house started getting cold. I checked the circuit breaker on the furnace and it was okay. I tried to relight the furnace but the warning stated that the furnace had an auto system to relight the furnace. Find someone else -- anyone else! These guys are excellent at customer service, but their prices are atrocious! They prey on people who don't any better. My HVAC died at the end of August, and I called S-K. Their rep was very professional looking, clean, and knew his business. Great service. When he quoted his prices for repairs, I didn't complain (I didn't know better). AVOID these people! They break stuff in your home just to sell you stuff. I wish I had a video camera out when the guy was here. What I saw and heard as I peaked around the corner while he worked was unbelievable. The plumber and I use the term loosely because he couldn't find the source of the leak he was called out for (turned out to be an icemaker line, I found it myself after he left) called his supervisor and complained that he wasn't going to make any money on the visit since he couldn't find the source of the leak. Is zero stars an option? This company is owned by a crook. I payed over $4000 for plumbing work and soon after I experience the same issue and they bill me over $4000 again. When I catch the error and ask for a refund they promise me one and many months later I have yet to receive it. All of the employees who once helped me have left the company. STAY FAR AWAY from this so called business.

Consumers BEWARE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you want to take a chance of being ripped off. Our AC was not working and we wanted a professional opinion, ha the technician they sent was nothing more than a sales man who tried to tell us the entire system needed to be replaced and would cost between $6000 to $9000. Thank goodness we had a second opinion, it ended up being nothing more than a sump heater and switch.... a minor and inexpensive repair. They use 'book prices' which means that they can be expensive for simpler jobs. We had a stuck drainplug in the closed position so the water could not drain. The technician immediately took the plug mechanism apart from the back, which was broken. Then he explains that he would need to install a completely new faucet including handle and all, even though that was not broken. I went with Sanford Kramer to fix my hot water heater, and it turned out to be a good choice. Their technician was truly a pleasure to have in my home. He was professional, knowledgeable, tidy, friendly, and efficient. I couldn't have asked for more--though I would have been okay with a discount.
