Sandy and Laura Sanborn founded Big Spring Ranch for Boys in the central Colorado Rockies in 1948. In 1962, they built High Trails Ranch for Girls a mile from the Big Spring site. The Sanborn Junior program for children 7-10 started in 1989. Tens of thousands of young people have participated in our Colorado summer camp for girls, boys, and teens over the last 60 years. 7th straight year in row! Our daughters love it and look forward to going more & more each year. Each year they return with more exciting stories & a higher appreciation of themselves and the world around them. Sanborn has been a beautiful part of our daughter's lives.

I spent 2 summers as a counselor at Big Spring in the early 90s. It was the best experience of my life. I only wish I could have been a camper there. Hoping my kids will be campers there soon!
