I had a horribly pinched nerve in my cervical spine. Nobody was listening to me...until Dr. Sanan saved the day. He immediately understood the issue, scheduled me for corrective surgery and fixed the problem. I am now completely pain free and look forward to returning to competitive powerlifting. I would have been sidelined for the rest of my life without his help.

I cannot recommend Dr. Sanan enough! Truly from the moment I met him he made me feel extremely comfortable and taken care of in a very scary situation. Not only that but his knowledge not only of my situation but also expertise of the surgery was incredible. I would recommend him over an over again. His assistant Melina and Nurse practitioner Janet were also incredible during my care with him and always available for questions or follow up if I needed clarity on anything. Dr. Sanan is an excellent neurosurgeon. His technical skills are superb, and he works well with a prospective patient to chart the best path forward. I would recommend him without reservation. Couldn't have asked for a more informative preparation for my surgery. His reputation was highly rated and built our confidence in the outcome which turned out the way he said it would . . . all swelling matter removed from the area determined by the CT scan and MRI.

Dr Sanan is the best. While I was in the hospital he came by my room every day to check day. My brain tumor was so large he thought it may take two surgery’s to remove it. He was able to get it removed all at one time. The doctor was on a mission to take great care of me. Me and my wife are so glad he is my doctor

In 2005, Dr. Sanan removed a cyst from inside L4 and L5. It was a total success. In May, 2020, I went back to him for severe stenosis between L3 and L4, and a herniated disc between L5 and S1. Again, the surgery was successful. Dr. Sanan and his nurse practitioner, Kathy Opela, took very good care of me and I am now, a little over one month post-surgery, pain free and back to my normal life. I can't recommend Dr. Sanan and his team highly enough and I have recommended him to several friends..

Had been treated for Parkinson’s Disease (and related symptoms) for the past few years and Dr Sanan recognized through CT scans and spinal tap that problem could be Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus and he did brain surgery to insert a shunt. The result is dramatic with physical symptoms (balance, gait, coordination, etc) improving by 80% and cognitive impairment improving by 60% (my estimates)!!! I could not be more pleased and I would highly recommend Dr Sanan and his team to anyone in need of Neurological Surgery.

Very personable and explains everything fully. Has wonderful bedside manners. Wants to answer all questions that you may have. Finally a great surgeon - one that you can trust.
