Dr. Sanan is very humorous and professional! He really knows his stuff. I had a thoracic laminectomy July 2022. He was very honest about how painful it would be. I had balance issues, no movement or feeling in my left leg, incontinence and ED. A month later, I'm starting to have feeling in my left leg, no incontinence and It is a miracle my ED is gone! Just had my first visit with Dr. Sanan's office at the Center for Neurosciences. Had an informative, thorough and caring treatment from Janet Haskell and Leslie. What a treat!
You will want a doctor to drop everything to take care of you! Most people don’t understand if you’re waiting Tovar him but how wonder it is to be in the other side! Thank goodness I haven’t been but I definitely understand and waiting to see him has never been an issue for me!
Dr. Sanan was introduced by my primary care doctor who I trust 100% on my medical issues. Dr. Sanan fixed back pain I had for years. I had serious back pain with pain on left leg. After the first surgery I started to have pain on right leg. I notified his medical assistant which Ms. Janet (nurse practitioner). His medical team and Dr. Sanan reviewed MRI, we were going to do surgery to fix this issue. I trust Dr.Sanan and his team. He visited me before the surgery and during my stay at hospital. Dr. Sanan performed a cervical laminectomy and the procedure leading up to the day surgery were very thorough. He explained the results of the MRI scans and the procedure in general terms. Even used visuals to show what was happening in the spine. His team was really good with follow-up in patient post-op. The surgery went well. Now on the road to recovery.
Dr Sanan's staff, Leslie Brinton and Janet Haskell, are wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and totally helpful, answering all my questions and helping me with my health concerns. And Dr Sanan is an amazing, brilliant surgeon. Not only is he a skilled doctor, but he is also a very approchable person. I would love to spend an afternoon with him just discussing philosophy and literature.
Dr. Sanan's diagnosis and lumbar spine surgery for my herniated disk truly gave me my life back. Before the surgery the pain was so intense that I could not tolerate it to sit down to eat, drive or ride in the car or do much of anything else. My sincere thanks to Dr. Sanan's staff member Janet Haskell NP-C who provided direction and support in getting me back to normal again. Also thanks to Leslie for scheduling everything in such a short time frame and obtaining the necessary insurance approvals.
I have an upcoming visit with Dr.Sanan, and he has been with my family for a really long time! And Dr.Sanan has known me since I moved to tucson with my family, in 2007 or 2008… Melina and Leslie and Dr.Haskell and Dr.Goldsteen, are my favorite doctors I have ever had in my life! I want everyone to go to the center for neurosciences when you have your own issues…
I am previous patient of Dr. Abhay, because of Dr. Abhay and his amazing staff, I have my life back, I could hardly walk and in a lot of pain, I'm doing great now . He has the best staff very polite and very helpful . Thank you Dr. Abhay what you do is amazing and life changing, Janet Haskell, thank you for all you have done .
