First off - I voted NO since I didn't want to vote YES, but I wanted to post a comment. You should just allow straight up reviews. Here is my comment: I just flew from SAT on 2/15. I was surprised to see someone vaping in the waiting area at one of the gates. I asked a person at the American counter and they said they were unsure of the airport's polices. I just came back from YUL in Montreal and the announcements were clear - no smoking and no vaping. I hope SAT clarifies their policies and bans vaping in airport. Thank you... read more
Got there early so we borded on our plane In less time than we expected we were in DC
I live 15 minutes away from the San Antonio International Airport yet fly more often our of AUS and HOU because the number of direct flights to locations I am heading to is lacking. Plus, the city is stopping them from getting a Chick-fil-A.
Return flight 3/20/17 SAT to MSP: Ten years later and nothing changes. Miss one detail and they're ransacking your shit. Doesn't matter of its a $250 Stetson or your entire laptop case! Simply trying to get through it fast enough to their liking because the only thing they know how to do is bark orders. Uh sorry Lackland is across town if they want to do that! Kudos to San Antonio Airport. Not only was it stress free, but it was pleasant and relaxing. Airport employees, airline and TSA personnel were both very friendly and competent. Well done. The respect you showed to active duty military was also appreciated. The left coast people should look and learn.
