The airport is fine, the departing plane was an hour late so my friend missed his connection in LAX so he did not get home until 2am this morning ..... 8 1/2 hours LATE! Thats EFED UP!!
Flew out on Saturday afternoon on Southwest. No issues. Food choices somewhat limited and small seating areas.
SA Int Aiport is a clean friendly place and I have never had any issues flying in or out from there.
Clean airport and nice people working there. Look forward to flying there again.
A Huge Thank you to all the Delta staff and San Antonio International Airport for making our recent trip to Detroit Metro Airport a wonderful experience. My husband is in a wheelchair and it can be very challenging at times but everyone was very accommodating and made things much easier. Thank you again!!!!
Checking your bags at one terminal and walking to another is a very short distance. Probably shorter than walking to the nearest security checkpoint in most major airports. Clean, modern airport with friendly people and excellent service. The only downside is that the two terminals do not connect so you may have to leave security if your connecting flight is in the other terminal. To my understanding, this is going to be fixed after the new parking/rental car structure is completed.
I flew American and checked two bags for a 5am flight. Many people there waiting for them to open. Once they were ready, everyone had to use the self check-in monitors for boarding passes and bag checks. I really didn't get this, but I guess that is making America Great Again, automation. TSA didn't open until 3:50. At this point more than 100 people were a waiting Security clearance. I'm sure it's ok later in the day, but I am not one to know.
They were pretty rude for no reason. There was a mixup and frankly the airport wasn't even busy. Maybe it was just an off day but there were a bunch of them that were rude.
Very clean atmosphere! REally would recommend this location to anyone.
