Best airport I have ever been to. Seriously a 5/5 experience.
I bought a goodie for 20 bucks. That was cool. Checking bags in and security was efficient. It is a big airport and very easy to navigate. Oh, I had to turn in my rental car and the bus was timely picking me up. All and all, I would say it was decent experience for an airport.
Slow to get luggage. Lots of construction, making it slow to get to car as well.
It will probably rate 4.6 stars once the construction is completed.
The airport itself is fine. The problem is with San Antonio being the seventh largest city in the US the air service doesn't match. It's much easier to go to Austin for flights.
It was really faster than any other airport and very friendly TSA employees.
We Really appreciated how kind and helpful the shuttle bus drivers were last night! I brought my neighbor to pick up her son and his wife and their 2 little children last night. The shuttle picked us up and brought us back to the parking structure quickly and even helped us load and unload the luggage! Please make sure their bosses know how wonderful and appreciated they were!
