RecommendedI read your blog about making the top restaurant list in the paper. Having worked for a newspaper I can confirm you have to advertise with them to make the list. Personally I’m picky when it comes to dining out especially if it’s going to cost over $50 for two. The meal, service, and atmosphere better be a memorable positive experience. I haven’t lived in STL since 1988 and Sams Steakhouse is in my top 10 all time favorites. Well worth the 1000 mile drive.
Everything was delicious. Our steaks were perfect and the service was excellent from the time we walked in until we left. We will be back.
Great steaks and service..
this was a horrible experience. we had to get the waiters attention many times and our steaks we're not as good as in the past.
I go to Sams about 4 times a year. Always the best steaks. I usually get the filet with the peppercorn sauce , they don’t have it on the menu anymore but is listed on the add on so I got the brandy peppercorn sauce added on. The problem was they still put the Andreas sauce on then the pepper sauce on top of that so I really didn’t taste the peppercorn sauce and it also didn’t have the peppercorn in it . Kind of disappointed but it was still good.
EVERYTHING By far the best steak any where, each and every time we visit over the last 5 years. The ambiance in the bar area with the piano music playing, the waiters/waitresses continuously taking care of you. Such great ambiance in the bar area every time we go for a special occasion. Tonight we celebrated our anniversary, with the same waiter taking care of us as our very first visit and several since then. He and staff helped make it an exceptional evening.
