My husband and our friends eat there almost every Thursday night. I have no complaints about the food it's always good and the service used to be...the last 6mo - yr has been nothing but waitstaff turn over, and few have been an improvement...I know you have made many improvements and we and our friends would like to continue to patronize Sam's. I mean this post purely as information...
RecommendedWent for the first time Saturday and loved it. Hard to find good outdoor seating in TN, and being on the water is what I love so it was a win-win! Our server Sarah was awesome - super nice and attentive! The food was really good as well. If it wasn't so far for us to drive I would definitely go more often!
The young lady behind the bar and needs some more training and customer service I was there for 17 minutes to serve me my drink give me a menu and never asked me what I wanted for food so I paid for my drink and left she was too busy talking to her friends at the bar about her boyfriend but golf carts and side by side RZR and poker runs in Old Hickory Lake in Lake Lanier Lake and Panama City vacation with family
The wife and I love Sam's. We love the atmosphere and the food. But I will take this moment to critic my favorite hangout. I think Sam's should install a couple of ceiling fans in the bar for when the windows are open. Also, I miss having actual bands on the summer weekends. It doesn't matter to me if they are on the main deck or up top. However, if it's up top then please get credit card use up there. Either way, I will still be there summer and winter.
I absolutely love Sams! We come here a lot. The food and drink is great. But you really do need to get the darn Bushwacker machine fixed. You are loosing money. And I really do love themthank you!!!!
Sams at Blue Turtle Bay has the BEST black Angus cheeseburgers! They are huge and I doubted I could finish but it was so delicious I ate every bite. I don't know what they do to their fries but they are outstanding as well.
I love the Sams at the Hendersonville location. This is my second time at the Old Hickory Lake location and this time is probably my last time... I'm sitting here now still waiting to get my drink after 30 of waiting.. Took the waiter about 20 min to even come to our table and once we ordered he hasn't been back its been 30 min and still haven't gotten our drinks. Probably will not be back to this location
Don't go by boat and expect to pick up lunch and eat on your boat! Especially on Saturdays and Sunday's when the lake is packed. They don't take Togo orders when they are on a wait! Really. They have road traffic and boat traffic and cannot keep up with the business. They must be doing so well they don't need or want that business. Other places on the lake are glad to serve you if you want food to go!!!!!!
