I joined Sam's Club as a new member through one of their promotions: Membership for $50 plus $50 off your first purchase in store. I received an email including the 27Y9X Join Offer code. On my first in-club purchase, the discount did not show up at register. Customer service basically kept saying "I've never seen a deal like this before" or "did you put the code in when you signed up". I received a wholly broken wall clock y mail from SamsClub.com, impossible to use; all the numbers were broken, and the glass was cracked into pieces as well. SamsClub.com REFUSED to refund/replace/accept a return because of some membership I don't have with them. When I asked what the connection is between membership to me paying for a product and receiving a completely broken one which is impossible to use, they just kept repeating I'm not a member of their club, so there is nothing they can help me with.
