We ate there several times during our recent trip to Outer Banks. We did not find anything that wasn't excellent on the menu! The crab cakes were the best, ALL seafood actually. The one thing I can't get off my mind was the meatloaf, mashed potatoes & green beans. Typical American meal that was packed with flavor....Personal invitation to Jim to come to Oklahoma anytime! Some day I hope to go back!
Best place on the OBX! Been going here for over 20 years. Waitresses are the best and breakfast can't be beat!
I was at the Outer Banks celebrating my 50th Birthbay. We really enjoyed the great food and service. Something good for everyone. The homemade cookies were good also.

The service and the food are both way above par, especially for what looks like just a kind of cute, unassuming place. Our waitress was warm and friendly, and really knew her stuff I usually dislike all clam chowder, but I tried a bite of my husband’s, and I was sorry I didn’t order a cup for myself. He said it was “The best ever”, and I am inclined to agree. We will definitely be back the next time we visit the Outer Banks.
Crab cakes are outstanding!!! So moist and so full of lump crab. YUM! Steamed veggies and their home made corn bread were excellent as well.
Was at Sam and Omies Saturday November 4th for breakfast. Must say our experience was most satisfying ! Prompt, curtious service and a delightful atmosphere. Our server was as sweet and genuine as one could have hoped for. I highly recommend Sam and Omies.
