I have been going to Sam and Omie's since before I could walk. Their restaurant always feels like coming home to me. It is such a friendly environment. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is super efficient. Try the McOmie for breakfast, and come back later for the cheddar burger or the Hatteras clam chowder!
The food and service were both fantastic. This was the last day before they close until March. While they were out of a few items they went out of their way to insure we had a great meal.
We stayed in the OBX for Christmas week. Went to Sam & Omie's twice - great breakfast! Next time we will do dinner there! A Nag's Head tradition!
The service was great I was just disappointed in the crab cakes. Of course it was one of the last nights they were going to be open for the season. So I give them a break on that. All in all I will go back...
Over priced, mediocre food, and rude wait staff. Worst meal we have had in OBX
Food and atmosphere are the best ! Always enjoy going there . Breakfast , lunch or dinner always great !
You can't get a poached egg for breakfast, But the food, hospitality and atmosphere are wonderful!
Food was so delicious. Service was wonderful. Can't wait to go back !
The service was ok, but the waitress either gave me the wrong drink or their drinks suck. The food was REALLY good, although a bit high in price for the portion size. I understand that they are in a tourist area. They can have higher prices.
