Universe Class Restaurant – My wife and I have dined at Salvatores at least 30 times in the past five years. Having dined in Asia, Europe, Quebec City, Montreal and Toronto, I find Salvatore's even higher than world class. With attention to the most minute of details, the Salvatore's have created an unparalleled dining experience. We love the ambience and decor, and the bartenders and staff are superb! Not Impressed – I only went to the restaurant twice. I would never go back. The food is only average but extremely overpriced. The decor is much too gaudy for my taste. I've had better meals at lesser priced restaurants. I don't understand why some people are impressed with Salvatore's. It is very tacky and very overpriced. The food is not remarkable.
Not worth the price ! – This place is not a true representation of Buffalo's fantastic restaurants that we are known for. For the price, I could name at least a dozen other restaurants with better food, service and ambience. If your visiting the area try Hutch's, Baccus, Left Bank...I could go on. Unless you are looking for severly overpriced, tacky restaurant to bring a friend or loved one, I wouldn't reccomend this place .
What a Joke – Are you kidding me? This is the tackiest, most horendous place on earth. It belongs somwhere in Jersey next to a diner. The wine list is a joke, the food is mediocre at best and the service is plain dumb.
Las Vegas in Buufalo? – This is like Las Vegas in Buffalo, with good USDA Prime steaks and lobster tails. The only dining spot in Buffalo that is worth writing home about.
Italian at it's American best – If you're looking for a nice night out, this is the place. There are some things to keep in mind though when dining here. First off, make reservations, but don't expect to get a table for the time you set the reservations for, expect to get seated at least 45 min. later than your reservation on the weekend. Next off, don't expect the waiters to bombard your table every two min. you'll need to speak up when your glass is empty because they aren't overly attentive to your drinking needs. True Italian? – Anyone who thinks this is atreat of a restaurant is sorely mistaken! The food is weak and the service is poor. As an Italian American I am insulted to have this trite fare included among fine dining restaurants.
tackiest in town – This restaurant which usually apprears on all kinds of top ten lists in Buffalo is the most over rated joint in town. The atmosphere is tacky and the food is mediocre at best. Salvatore's Italian Gardens is the Libarace of the Italian dining world without the piano!
