Okay food, you pay for what you get....kinda. – We went for our wedding anniversary...someone had gotten us a gift certificate. Granted with the dinner and hotel package, you had to choose off of a seperate menu. I got the prime rib, I remember the carrots being very good, the rib was also good. Horrible and darkness atmosphere, poor courtesy and NOTHING ROMANTIC! – The past Sept.11 I went with my girlfriend to this restaurant thinking that it would be good & romantic for the critics that I have read in this page, only one bad comment (until now! ). Atmosphere-straight kitsch, food mediocre and service the same. What is all the hooplah about -is it because there are costly collections that he can deduct, eg cars? – I belong to a group who insist on meeting here. I have never been impressed with the food and the wait staff needs a few lessons in courtesy and efficiency. I am offended by the decor, which lacks taste, is over-priced and over the top. Would not return there on my own but have been outvoted by those lacking refinement.

surf & turf A++++ or anything for that matter is an A++++ – Salvatores is dinning at it's finest. Subperb customer service and food.I would not say it's not for children. It's for well behaved children with good taste! My daughter's first dinning experience was when she was three. She is now 7 and it is her number one choice on her Birthday.Thank you for the many family memories! There's not a better place in Buffalo!
World's Best Restaurant – I don't understand how one restaurant can be viewed by patrons in completely opposite ways! So ....is it refined, grand and luxurious? Or is it tacky, as some people have suggested. The only tacky thing is the restaurant making souvenirs for sale for customers on the way out. That's it! Everything else is beautiful! Poor excuse for quality. – Overpriced frozen and reheated food. Service was terrible. Never again.
Always Great – I have gone to Salvatore's with my wife at least twice every year for the past 8 years. I have never had a bad experience. I keep going back because I feel I don't have to worry about food quality, service, ambience, or any other problem. I know when I go we will love the food and have a great time.
