About this business

Established in 2013, Salvage BBQ is renowned for its barbecue dishes which are smoked in a special oven fueled by wood from the red oak trees of Maine. You can sit at the bar and order and order some local microbrews and bourbons along with hearty barbecue specialties or settle in the dining area with your families and let the kids entertain themselves with the arcade games available here. Come in on a Saturday evening for foot-tapping live music performances.

So I went with my husband for the first time yesterday I personally was not impressed. I ordered 1/2 chicken and a corn bread muffin. Chicken was dry very dry. The muffin was even dryer. My husband order the platter that is $28. He liked the brisket a lot the pulled pork was ok. He had to send back the ribs they were rock hard...they gave him new ones but he was still not impressed. The order did come out very quickly which was impressive. I was not happy with the BBQ sauce choices at our table. I am not sure we will go back... read more

Went there for dinner on Saturday night w/family. It was very busy but ordered our food & drinks w/o a hassle. Pulled pork & collard greens were my favorite, excellent 😋. It was ALL very good including desserts! Noise level was high but the menu made up for it. We'll definitely return.

As a matter of fact, you had to to make it edible. The cornbread was soggy, not crispy like it usually is.The fries tasted good, but als... read more
