June 12, 2018 Update: I gave Salvage another chance because I had good food there about 3 years ago. It was worse than the last visit. The cornbread was dry, the kielbasa was not good, mac & cheese was overly salty, dried out and not very flavorful which may be why they salted it so much, the chicken was bland and didn't have good flavor (we gave it to a homeless man and honestly felt guilty doing so because it was not good), the collard greens were seasoned poorly and would have been much better if they were cooked and unse... read more
Easy, laid back & a great selection of local brews
Great BBQ, great atmosphere, great drinks and beer!
Brisket was on the tough side. Pulled pork was almost like ‘burnt ends’. Low and slow BBQ you expect soft, juicy and flavorful tasting meat. This was overly salty and tough. You just can’t replicate southern BBQ....I was so hoping for my fix.
Ohmehgerd! Terrific food spacious joint. Can't wait to go back soon!
