Our NW shop is in the historic Esquire Building that has a history as a variety of theaters, coffee shops, and ice cream parlors (or at least they called the backdoor entrance an ‘ice parlor’ during prohibition).

Try the cinnamon flavour
A+ for their ice cream and service! Get the almond brittle with sea salt ganache and cinnamon snickerdoodle! Mhmmmmm!
Taste the weird flavours, buy the normal ones! The weird ones seem ok when you have a tiny bit on a spoon, but not so great when getting two scoops...
The neighbors hate Salt and Straw's customers. Stop parking in the street with your hazards blinking, in private spots, blocking driveways, blocking the sidewalk and throwing your trash everywhere.
If you have had the Strawberry balsamic vinegar try the sea salt with caramel. Best to have in a cone; saltiness of the ice-cream with the sweetness of the cone, yum.
Strawberry balsamic vinegar with black pepper lives up to its hype;nothing like I have ever had;super yum.
Peppermint cocoa!
Olive oil ice cream is greAt.
Try a seasonal flavor! They only stick around for a month!
