Delivery by Horse & Carriage -- Review #2 – If you're eating in at Sal's, great. When the pizza is piping hot, it is delicious. But do NOT call Sal's for delivery. Delivery by horse and carriage – I ordered a pizza from Sal's on a Sunday afternoon. It took 1 hour and 52 minutes exactly. I had to call them 3 times to ask where my pizza was. I had heard good things about their pizza quality, etc... and maybe that is the case in house at their location on Wycliff, but this pizza was terrible. decent pizza; horrible service – decent pizza for Texas but coming from NY its hard to find something better. Don't get delivery unless you want cold pizza and a order taker who is rude and thinks he is doing you a favor by selling you a pie. I live a few blocks down from Sal's and it took over an hour to get my pie delivered and when I called to complain that it was cold, he said, "what do you want me to do about it". I rated them low just because of that poor service.

Very good crust but very average taste – I decided to give Sal's a try after reading it was voted Dallas' "Best Pizza 2006" by the readers here.
