Best in Texas – I love love love it! Hathaway is the best colorist I have found in Texas. The salon is clean, the music is fun and people are great! I so happy I finally found a great salon!
BEST IN BIG D – Just moved here from N.Y & needed a good hairdresser. I was at the mall and I saw the cutiest haircut since I've been here. Needless to say I asked her about her hair, and she gave me one of her hair-stylists cards (MIKE EVANS)!! I was surprised I was able to get in so quickly w/ him. HE IS AWESOME!!.He listen to what I wanted & gave me some advice on products also. My cut was so cute,I went out that night.
Great service, great prices – Salon is really reasonable considering its Uptown location. I go to Mike, he's a cool guy and spends the time to listen to what you want. His cuts grow out well. Also, I get partial highlights and its a really generous number of foils for being a partial, not full. Con: Parking is in a dank scary garage, and even though its on McKinney you cant see the Pompeo sign from McKinney. A salon that schedules around me! – Finally a full service salon that works with MY schedule instead of the usual....'let me see if I can fit you in comment'. I love that I can get a massage, facial, make up applicatin , buy top brand products, paint my nails, hair cut, hair colour, hair style, hair perm or updo, spray tan AND a drink! All in a 10 mile radius of my house! whoo hoo! AND on MY schedule!!!!!Spoil me like a princess they do!
Super service – I can not imagine going to any other salon! I don?t know who they fired below in that last review, but what she said is not the case! They have great stylists and I go for the air brush. They also have great products. I bought a spray tan in a can and was skeptical, but with the right instruction from the tech, I was able to touch in between tans on my own and save a little money. I love this place and wouldn?t think of going anywhere else downtown. They just remolded recently as well. Go try for yourself!
Not a good experience – My first and last experience here was awful. I met my "stylist" who was having her own hair processed at the time, while her hair was up in a towel. I was quite nervous since that seemed really unprofessional of her. Turns out she was fairly new to the business, which made me even more nervous. I took a chance and let her cut my hair, which came out okay. HOWEVER, I asked for a CLEAR gloss and my dark brown hair came out the color of a rusty nail. Overall a good experience! – I had a manicure, pedicure, and haircut at Salon Pompeo. Let me start by saying that the staff was very friendly and the prices were very resonable. My haircut was fantastic! They definitely deserve being rated one of the best haircuts in Dallas. As far as my nails, they didn't do a bad job, but they didn't do a good job either. best i've ever had – I went into salon pompeo, and I had an appointment with Abel for a haircut and a facial with Liz, I've never had a better haircut or a facial, I was thouroughly surprised, I've been to a few places and for some reason always leave out greatly disatisfied, but salon pompeo was great! Great haircut less chat, is what i like, and i was very relaxed with my facial, Highly recommend, I will be going back!
I loved It!!! – I have been to many salons and spas and I recently went to Pompeo for my hair and a facial. The place is so New York. They are such cool people but very talented. My hair was exactly the way I wanted it and the facial was perfect. My skin was glowing and I set up some Microdermabrasion with Natalee. I have been to Red Door, the Crescent you name it--but this is where I will be coming for my hair and skin!
