Great job at a clean salon... – I have lived in Dallas for 2.5 years, and this is the first salon I returned to following my first visit. I wasn't pleased anywhere else I went, and found Salon Pompeo on citysearch, as a matter of fact. The salon is extremely clean, and the facilities are nice. Ask for Mike =) – I go to Salon Pompeo all the time now. It is one of the best places in Dallas for a haircut! Mike has done my hair at least once a month. He is awesome! I love the way he works because he teaches you ways to do your hair and educates you how to continue to maintain your hair from home. My co-workers and friends alwaaaays ask me where I get my hair done and who does it. Believe me you won't be sorry!! Best Haircut – I loved the place. I have returned a few times and it will be the place that I get my haircut from now on. I have tried other cuts like Gino and others, but this one i still feel is the best.
My Hair is Awesome!! – I've had my hair done by Mike about 3 times now and he always does a super job. I'm so glad I found this place! I had a cut and color done last night and this morning when I came into work, I got so many compliments on how fantastic it looked. The staff is always friendly, and I love that I can have a beer or glass of wine while I wait. I don't know about parking since it's conveniently located within walking distance from my house. Highly Recommended!
Fantastic!!! – I have lived in Dallas for 6 years and have never been able to find a stylist that worked for me. I called Salon Pompeo early on a Saturday morning and they just happened to have an opening with Kim. I wanted to take my hair back from brown to blonde and was incredibly nervous about it. She not only did a FABULOUS job with my hair cut, but the color looks fantastic and is exactly what I was looking for! Wonderful haircuts! – I have been going to Mike Evans at Salon Pompeo for about 6 months now. He is a WONDERFUL stylist. He always takes the time to listen to me, figure out exactly what I like and don't like, and he's honest when giving opinions. He also gives wonderful head massages when shampooing! :) I would highly recommend him to anyone, including my closest friends.
Great Salon! – I absolutely love Salon Pompeo! Since I just recently moved to Dallas, I had been trying to find a new regular salon and several of my friends recommended this place to me. I dance for one of the professional sports teams here in Dallas and many of my teammates go to Pompeo. I tried it out for myself a couple months ago and loved the way Eddie listened to exactly what I wanted and created a style that was suited to my desires and style. Highly recommended :-)
Where is Kinley?? – Loved the experience and that they offered a selection wine. But what I really loved was my stylist Kinley!! He has moved on and I do not know how to find him. If anyone knows him or where I can find him, please post it...a good stylist is HARD to come by!
Mike Evans - Great stylist – I've only visited Mike for 2 haircuts, but I'll be a customer as long as he is cutting hair. He listens to your ideas for a cut and also makes recommendation on what he thinks would look best for your facial structure and hair texture. I respect his expert opinion, and he always guides me in the right direction. He asks a lot of questions to get to know your hair history, how you wear your hair (curly or straight), etc, and I appreciate his attention to detail.
