If you booked the Lofts, it still may not be ready! From my experience, I booked the 2 bedroom loft with the Emerald Coast Preserve Room Condo through the hotel’s website. I was given a one bedroom loft with a view of the pool. I was not told before I arrived or even when I arrived that they did not have a 2 bedroom loft available. I was given a one bedroom loft and was not made aware of the change until I walked into the room to discover it on my own. The Henderson Beach and Spa Resort is a PHENOMENAL experience, with a remarkable: location, style, services and such a blissful staff that is greater than everything you have ever hoped for! I HIGHLY recommend anyone traveling to Destin to make this their number 1 destination! I promise you will truly be beyond satisfied. One love
Everything about our experience at the resort was exceptional— except for housekeeping. Food was great, room was lovely and comfortable, all staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating, and my visit to the spa was relaxing. Sadly, we had issues with our room being cleaned consistently while we were gone each day. This also meant we had to ask for the basic amenities we used daily like sweeteners and creamers for coffee, and water bottles. That was our only complaint. We will definitely be back.
My husband and I stayed on property for a 2-night staycation getaway at the end of February and had a wonderful time. Our room was beautiful and comfortable with an incredible view and our spa experience excellent. We visited Horizons for happy hour both days and dined at Primrose for dinner the first night and the food was delicious. The staff service at every turn was impeccable. We will definitely be back for another special occasion in the future.
Warning! I booked a family trip to stay in one of the spacious two bedroom loft condos with a beach view. I was emailed the day before our vacation began to let me know that the condo wasn’t ready. Instead they were putting us in two small adjoining hotel rooms with a garden view. When I called to discuss I spoke with Jonathan who apologized and said he or the assistant GM would call me back within an hour or so with a solution. No one ever called me back. Beautiful property. Lovely spa and great bar. Staff were attentive and accommodating. Ms. Dottie at the front desk was exceptional! She is a gem. Her knowledge of the property and the area were made my experience one of the best I’ve had at a Hotel.
