I recommend staying home to die, rather than come to this death trap! My grandmother went in for one reason and then said she was in there for another. They didn't listen to her when she said she needed her medication. Upon arrival the staff picked her up out of the wheelchair and ripped her skin (an 8 inch gaping wound) behind her knee down to her ankle, and they said she fell. Beware of Saint V's!!! My daughter, who for those of you who don’t know suffered cardiac arrest in July, was resuscitated 3 times (twice at St. V’s) then spent 8 days in UPMC children’s hospital down in Pittsburgh. Tonight she was having chest pains so I called the ambulance, they insisted on taking her into the hospital. Upon our arrival, the nurse at St. V’s to instruct the medics to take her out to the triage area; which is a nice way of saying the waiting room.
