As of today its 6 days in the ER for my Daughter who is Developmentally Disabled and waiting for a SCCAT bed to open. She is not allowed to order off patient menu but forced to eat food of no nutritional value. If it wasn't for her parents giving up time at work. There is no one to make sure she ate.. She is stuck in a 5 by 8 room with no stimulation or exercise. All her strength is waning and her body is weakening from lack of nutrition. It only a matter of time till she breaks down. The hospital and Dr.s are wonderful but the billing dept is awful! I just received a 3rd bill which was billed incorrectly. This is not 3 bills for 1 visit, I am referring to 3 bills for 3 different visits. My insurance said that they told them each time that they used the wrong code and to send the correct one. Instead of doing so, they sent me the bill. THREE TIMES this happened. I recommend them for their services, but pay attention to your bills and know your EOB, or you will be paying a lot more than you are supposed to... read more
After feeling not so pleased with recent care at the areas local hospitalS, their pediatrics emergency care was great! Free vallet emergency room parking, very nice intake and triage team, followed by a team of drs. and nurses immediately into the room and we were in and out within a totally decent amount of time! I very happy to have now made St. Peters my family's hospital!
At Robert wood johnson and Saint Peter's University Hospital What do they feed Patients? Remember these are patient's 'Re heated frozen dinner' -\-\ I know some one / she is there for cancer treatment. -\-\ I know some one / she just delivered a baby at St Peters, The list is too long, I wonder ' what is wrong with these highly educated, Phd's Gastroenterologist, Cardiologist, super doctors??? Or may be it is just the management. God Bless America.
