We are first-time diners - we just walked in by chance, and what a great find. This place has a warm, friendly atmosphere and a great staff. The bartender was cheerful and all the staff seemed to want to make us feel at home. We had a truely Milanese dinner, the pounded and breaded Pork Chop was tender and tasty, and the Boar Osso Bucco was just out of this world. Just like in Milan!! This is not one of those "Italian American" places but the real thing. Great food, ambiance and staff - We will be back!!

Great italian – have been dining at Sagra since they opened and can honestly say that I recommend eating there for any occasion whether it be a romantic occasion, a business dinner, a family get together or a night out with your friends. The staff will automatically tune in to the type of experience you want and will make you and your guests feel like true VIPs (the owners have got to be doing something right because they have the most friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff I have ever seen in a restaurant). The food... read more

Best italian outside of italy – You will no doubt impress your friends by bringing them to sagra. The location idowntown is always lots of fun, and inside the restaurant is very cozy. Prices are extremely reasonable. considering how amazing the food is, i have easily paid double or triple what i have paid at sagra and gotten not nearly as good food. i recommend the pasta dishes, esp the rigatoni with some sort of meat ragout and the tortellini with pesto. desserts are also wonderful. get the nutela gelato.. perfect

Owners awesome, food great, excellent atmosphere and spectacular service!!! – Charlie needs to lighten up and to stop being so rude and condescending himself. Wow- talk about calling the kettle black. What a nice man! I go to Sagra at least once a week and have since it opened 6 months ago. Do they sometimes make mistakes? Yes Do I sometimes get a server who is new or might be a little hurried? Yes Things like this happen at any restaurant. However, for the vast majority of the time I have been very pleased. That would expla... read more

Great bruschetta! – I am a very picky eater, but Italian is my favorite. I thought the bread was awsome and the pizza was tasty. Vegetable lasagna also really good and unique. My friend had the chicken special and enjoyed it so much he's taking a bunch of business associates later in the month. I found it very quaint and warm. You should try it at lunch. It's not too busy so you feel your taken care of.

Chi cerca trova, one of the best little restaurants in all of Austin. – This was my first experiance at Sagra and I was very impressed. I was there on a Friday night and it was a full house. Their was five of us in our group and had reservations, greeted and were promptly seated. Our waitress Alex was very attentive and helpful with what to choose off the menu, she really was on top of things. Everything on the menu sounded great, and we all decided to try as much as we could. We ordered a few different appetizers. Everythin... read more

Best Pizza in Austin – I have been to sagra a couple times over the last couple of months and they have the best pizza in austin. The place is really beautiful and I have been there for happy hour and had a pizza and five beers for $10. Yeah $10. What a deal.

Disappointed – I'm so sorry to write this review because I was looking forward to finding a new gem. The evening started out with a drink in the little cozy bar section. Unfortunately, the 2 bartenders were miserable from the start. My boyfriend and I felt like we had ruined their evening by sitting at the bar. He shook a pathetic martini (granted, I'm sure the wine would have been a more apopos choice) and we sat in total discomfort because of their attitudes. We thankfully were transferred to our table in the outdoor patio... read more
