My friends and I ate at Sage today for lunch. It has always been one of my favorite places. Upon first bite of my friends tomato soup, she bit into a roach. The poor server was mortified but the chef and management were a no show. I can't describe enough how disgusting this experience was not only because of the roach but also because of the complete lack of response from management. My advice is to stay away from Sage.
Great food but less quantity compared to price. Other than that everything else was good. Classic looking place.
My husband and I went to Sage for our anniversary dinner, and everything was delicious! The new seasonal menu had just come out, and everything was delicious. The Escargot was so decadent, the Bone Marrow topped with Ropa Vieja was out of this world, the Carbonara was cooked to perfection, and the cocktails were unique and delicious. Our server Mairin was amazing and extremely knowledgeable, and the bartender was on point. Highly recommend this restaurant.. It's a Tallahassee gem!
My go to special occasion spot. I fell in love with Sage the moment we we're greated by staff and kept going all the way to the last bite of dessert. Full 4-5 course meal with wine pairing is the way to go. Caitlyn and Jenn know what they are doing and most definitely will not dissapoint! With an amazing, ever changing with the seasons, menu from Ryan and the kitchen there is sure to be something for everyone!
