Starbucks!! Specifically Milad
Ken the cashier is awesome. He is always super friendly with everyone. He is very efficient. He handles rude customers with ease. He has a great level of professionalism. Makes Safeway feel more like a small town family owned grocery store.
Corporate bully, threats to sue our small town if they don't get to build their gas station next to a childcare center, elementary school and park. They strong armed our city council and are willing to risk the health of our kids. They care not what our town wants and have zero care about the climate crisis and or the environmental racism that they are taking part in!
Years ago Safeway actually had customer service standards, not so much anymore.. It’s too dark in the store, aisles are too crowded, the lines are too long no matter when you go, employees are non existent and in most cases seems totally uninterested in helping the customer .. I went from shopping there for years to never ever will I shop there again.. I shop at Raleys and they don’t even carry everything I need like Safeway does but I rather go without than endure shopping at Safeway ..

Good selection, fresh produce and meat. Aisles get crowded with displays and always seems to be a longer line at the check-out than I would like.
Nice cut of meats. Shelf well stocked. Isles are wide enough.
