Unfortunately, I have to give at least one star. Terrible claims service from start to finish. Terrible communication, Lie, and try to scam you during the process. Did I mention, the first reimbursement check they sent BOUNCED! Once forced to reissue, and forced to reimburse the return deposit fee, they deducted 5 bucks because I would not give them my banking information to do an electronic transfer. They have a two page form for me to complete for 15 bucks, which states if "they" determine they have overpaid me for any re... read more

Safeware Insurance company is a minus one star.. with a long story short, I was told they have no one in my area that could come out to my home to fix my treadmill that I bought from Horizon and the person that they finally did come out to my home only looked at the machine said he could not fix it because it did not stop suddenly when he was here and it didn’t smell like wires were burning nor did the machine get so hot to the touch. Contact them on November 10, 2023; a local repair company called me and looked at the refrigerator, and a third-party repair company said they were waiting for the part. Contacted Safeware on January 23, 2024, to check on the claim. It said the claim was closed. I spoke with the adjuster, and she said the part is not covered. They did not contact me to let me know or send an e-mail. The refrigerator is not cooling properly. I will not get this warranty again. I prefer to go to Home Depot or Lowe's. No good service.

Do not get a protection plan from any retail selling through this company! They performed a bait and switch and defrauded consumers when they file their claims. They will never fix, repair or replace your products. Instead they will offer you your money you paid to release themselves from actually standing behind their policy. They are frauds and will steal your money!

Most of out furniture was purchased from Weekends Only, for the past 6 years we had gotten the warranty with Safeware, never had a problem with claims until last year 2021 and currently. Was told by claims that they do not cover workman ship, staples are coming out of the back of our loveseat, a warranty technician noticed when here on burn hole claim, he told me to submit a claim. This company is terrible I have been trying for over a year to get my sofa repaired. I have sent the proper information & pictures multiple times & still nothing.I have also sent emails multiple times along with many phone calls which they promised me someone would contact me within 48 hours….. no one has called me my latest phone call was 2 weeks ago ….. still nothing. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. My claim number is 8215688

My mother in law purchased this protection plan through Ashley Furniture, she bought a beige leather recliner and parts of it has turned green. They tried to say it was body fluids but was not the case because she had put a covering over it, she disputed it and finally they said they would send out someone to look at it, they said someone would show up between 7-9 at NITE!!! I have been waiting almost 6 months to have my couch repaired. I put my claim in on May 7th, 2021. It took over 5 months to get the part and I've had the part sitting in my living room for almost 3 weeks now. I've called the company multiple times, left messages, and even spoke with my representative last Tuesday the 19th of October to schedule an appointment for the repairman to come out and fix it.
