I love the Spa area it has a very inviting atmosphere. And deserve a 5 star. The reason I can only give 3 stars is because of my experience with the restaurant. Since we always get the same waitress I just base my experience on her. Today was the 3rd time she forgot to bring my credit card back after she charged me. Then we had an issue with the food and it wasn't handled very professionally.
We come here twice a year on confrence and we love Safety Harbor Resort and Spa. Beautiful place, excellent service and wonderful food. The resort is historical and does have some needs regarding age but its obvious that they work hard to keep it up. Will keep coming here.
Stayed there Sept. 29- Oct.2. building is old but they have done a great job of updating and keeping it clean. Room was updated and nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The area around the resort and walkways are great. The newly opened Bar Fly Restaurant access the street was fantastic and certainly enhanced our experience. For the price and atmosphere we will certainly stay there again.
