I love adventure and I don't get much of it anymore at the age of 63. My friends came down from Reno to visit me and thanks to their niece, Mandy, who works at Safari, none of us would have known about Safari West. Growing up here in Santa Rosa, I've traveled over to Calistoga for my kids games and seen the Safari sign, but always thought it was some small petting zoo for children. I had the best time at Safari West for my birthday! We rented the luxury king tent cabin and stayed the night- walked around with flashlights and saw some of the animals at night. In the morning, we took the 3 hour safari tour with Travis and it was incredible! What an amazing, passionate and knowledgeable tour guide. Even in the pouring rain, he was game for a great tour.
