My husband and I decided to staycate at Safari West and it was pretty cool. 😍 If you are an animal lover and like the novelty of a Sonoma County safari and staying in an authentic African safari tent while listening to the sounds of all of the animals as you drift off to sleep, Safari West is the place for you. And me. 😊
The Dogde M-37 vehicle was cool to see (maintenance and use). Go in the morning and the animals are more active. Springtime is also advised if you can make it then. Our tour guide, Karen, was very knowledgeable and personable. The scenery is also appealing. The animals...well cared for, interesting, so fun to visit!
This place is the real deal. An amazing collection of African wildlife. And, the whole park is clean & well maintained, the staff friendly and *very* knowledgable. We stayed in one of the tent/cabins the night before. The bed was *incredibly comfortable and there was such obvious attention to every detail it was impressive.
Was a great tour! Food was great and so was our tour guide! I totally recommend going!
We had a great time even though we were in hail storms the whole time. Ann was our guide and made sure we still had a good time! A big thanks to Safari West for having us!
Even in the rain it was a great day and the staff are awesome
