We had a great time at Safari West and would highly recommend it to others. The animals were fun to watch, the tents luxurious and the grounds beautiful. However the best part of our stay was the staff. Specifically our guide Jeff and Sara(h) (sp?) in the restaurant. Jeff was knowledgeable, professional, and good humored. Actually loved it. Great place and great staff. The lunch looked and smelled fabulous. Unfortunately, the telephone staff never called me back so we not able book a reservation. If you go in the morning you might want to take extra jacket with a hood. Might be a bit roo cold for some.

Our family had the best time at Safari West -- it was nothing short of magical! The friendliness of every staff member we met was matched by their professionalism and willingness to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We went for a wonderful Birthday celebration! Our tour guide was awesome , gave us lots of information and the animals were really cool and well taken care of in a natural habitat! Can't wait to go again! Dinner was excellent!! We had a great time and it's just a beautiful place!!
We just got home from our Safari West stay today. What an incredible experience. It was busy but very organized and not crowded. Every member of the staff was pleasant..happy and helpful..it came across to me that they all love what they do. Our Safari guide Nate was funny, charming, well informed and a great driver!! I chose to celebrate my 41st birthday there. Great choice! I found the pictures from that trip a few months ago. We made some great memories and Want to go back again.
