Safari West is a wonderful place to visit. Loved seeing how they are helping preserve animals that may soon lose all their habitat in the wild. I appreciate the thoughtful care that goes into providing them as natural surroundings as possible. Also appreciate that none of these animals is taken from the wild. Lots to learn here! We had Vernon as a tour guide, and it was fascinating and amusing. He understood just what the kids would be interested in :~), and care for the animals just shines through.
Safari West was hands down one of the best adventures ever! You are literally up close and personal with the animals, without touching them of course. The views and enclosures are incredible. What an amazing place. Our guide was also amazing and very educated about each group of animals. We learned a lot! Thank you Safar West! I will be back!

Our family flew from Maine and we had an amazing time! Our tour guide Vernon was excellent and did very well out our Autistic son, whom we didn't tell the staff was special needs. We learned tons, had an outstanding morning and got to leave with memories that will last a lifetime! Couldn't ask for a better time. Thanks for that!
We had a great time. The tents were very comfortable and staying the night across from the animals was a great experience. We also did the behind the scene tour and the Jeep tour which was fun as well. The tour hides were very knowledgeable.
Safari West is a magical place! Beautiful gardens, amazing animal sanctuary and outstanding service and African ambience in their luxury tent cabins! An experience you will never forget. I highly recommend this.
My husband and I took a tour and spent the night. We had a really great time! We were only an hour from home, but it felt like we were at a resort in Africa!
