We loved our visit to Safari West and really enjoyed learning about all the animals we encountered. Our guide, Lindsey, on the Jeep tour was most impressive and provided so many details about the program there, the animals, and her dedication to caring for the animals was very evident. The entire experience was so unique and something we will not forget and will definitely return again.
We had an absolutely amazing time! Vernon is an awesome tour guide! His knowledge and passion are undeniable and infectious. It was so fascinating to learn about the animal behaviors, as well as how Safari West is accommodating the animals and helping to preserve the species. Amazing place! Beautiful African Wildlife! You can stay overnight too! I’d love to hear the animals at night.
It is a great spot nestled in the mountains near Santa Rosa where you can see animals roam. I was lucky to go on a day when herds we’re running free and animals would walk up to the vehicle I was in.
Great experience. A hidden gem in California.
