Great Safari experience in California! Get up close to lots of exotic animals-3 hour tour with knowledgeable guide, via Jeep and some easy walking. Especially enjoyed seeing giraffes & zebras!

Spent a fabulous day there over 4th of July weekend! Loved the Jeep tour - even sat up top for part of it - got up close views of zebras, rhinos, antelopes, giraffes and many more. Our tour guide Zach was well informed and kept us entertained throughout the tour. Would definitely visit again!
What’s NOT to recommend about safari west!? Everything about this place is perfect. Pure bliss. Connect with nature, eat mouth-watering delicious meals, listen to all the wildlife as you lay in bed at night, learn about some of the most amazing animals on earth.

There is so much to recommend Safari West, the Safari itself is fascinating. We had a guy named Matt who was truly terrific. He was unusually smart and informative and I learned a lot of new things despite the fact that I’m a biologist and have taught biodiversity stuff for 30 years. But he was very charming and accessible to anybody -I was really impressed. The animals were fascinating and had a real feel of what it would be like to go to Africa and learn some new animals.
