Everything about it was great!
Had an amazing time here with my family. We were celebrating my niece’s birthday. Wonderful Safari ride, great tour guide, lots of animals. Very personable, great buffet lunch. Worth the money and time!!! Will come back again. Thank you so much for all you do for keeping those animals safe during the fires last year, we know it wasn’t easy!
Amazing facility focused on preserving endangered animals that through God’s good graces survived the Tubbs Fire. Excellent tour with two parts -walk about and Jeep ride. Walk about portion is wheelchair accessible. I was fortunate to have a tour guide that had worked at Safari West for 13 years and was exceptionally knowledgeable. I didn’t glamp in the on-site tents but a family on my tour had and loved it.
We had such a nice time here! The grounds are really beautiful, and the animals well cared for. Everyone seems to love their job here and were all super friendly! Jeff was our tour guide and he was very knowledgable and funny. Glad we decided to make this drive to experience Safari West!
Surprised my wife with a private tour with family and friends for her Birthday . It was absolutely amazing . Our tour guide Sam did a excellent job of keeping us informed and intertained . Would highly recommend Safari West to anyone looking for something different from your normal zoo experience . Good Times !

It was a great place to visit I highly recommend it.
Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The animals look happy and healthy, and well taken care of. It was a treat to see them up close. The giraffes are very friendly and were so close we could have touched one (but we didn’t).
