Don’t go there if you think your baby will come before 24 weeks. They will NOT save a baby before 24 weeks. Also the nicu nurses have openly said its “torture” to save a 22 weeker, and they will ultimately die even with treatment. Those are the kind of people you have working in the nicu. DO thankful we left at 21 weeks and didn’t let them kill my baby. 22.2 weeks. 13.9 oz. 21 months old and completely healthy thanks to USA in Mobile. Sacred was going to let him die
get nurses in the ER that actually care for the people that go in there
To start with there is no parking near the emergency department. The drop off area near the main entrance is always completely blocked by valet so even if you didn't plan to use it you're forced to or else be late for your appointment. Last night's ER visit with my mother started with an interrogation and accusations of drug seeking plus being put into even more pain having to sit uncomfortably for over NINE HOURS before making it to a bed. My father is there now. He is a fall risk. He called the nurse station twice and requested to be moved from a chair to his bed. Nobody came to assist him.
