Unimpressed with the customer service here. I was looking to get my wedding cake from here, had the appointment set up until they asked what I was doing for my other desserts. I have already booked from another bakery so Ryke's refused to do my cake since I am not doing everything through them. Who are they to tell me how I can or cannot spend MY money on MY wedding. I called and still got nowhere. To turn away a paying customer is absolutely appalling to me and I cannot and will not support a business with this kind of mind... read more

Nicole, I am sorry you were unhappy with the customer service. We endeavor to be as customer friendly as possible. I know Breanna spent time with you on the phone today and would liked to have accommodated you -she hates making people unhappy. However there are policies that we have had for years that we have established to protect our branding. What happened, did you change something. the donuts we bought yesterday wasn't the same tast different not good. I have lived long enough to tast the original recipes. I tried 3 different donuts they all tasted odd, and all odd in the same way!
The Tuscan Vegetable soup today is The BEST SOUP �I have ever had! I got the 16oz. & wish I had bought the 32oz. The bread & butter makes it special too (since I have crackers at home).�
Where do I start!! My moms wedding cake was from Rykes in 1970. Mine was from Rykes 1996. And several birthday cakes, cupcakes and everything in between. And the Tortilla chips and Asiago Cheese Spread is to die for!!! I just love Rykes!!!! I love the new GH bakery as well.
Ryke’s Made our wedding cake in 1987 that included 3 cakes with bridges to main cake 🍰 plus it was absolutely delicious one year later unfrozen in Texas! Love the rose blossoms and butter cookies. Rykes is special and I’m so glad we have them here in Muskegon!
Food was amazing & the friendly people made or lunch even better! Appreciated!
