Dr. Gursky did my knee replacement, and I intend to have him do the other. Absolutely no complaints. He did a superior job, explained everything thoroughly, and followed up to make sure I was progressing as expected.
Gave 2 stars because his office nurse, informed me that if I canceled surgery, I wouldn't be able to use Dr. Gursky again. She seemed very uncaring. Dr. Gursky, was very nice. I wonder if he knows how she treats patients.
I work in healthcare; did my research to find what I thought was a caring & great orthopedic surgeon for meniscal tear which required surgery as I could hardly walk without pain & couldn't do my usual physical activity. Supposed to have 2 procedures done but stilI don't know if both done (only 1 done per op report). Had complications postop(which can happen). Didn't get better w/ multiple treatments he did for months after. I changed to Dr. Mittal who fixed it QUICKLY without invasive surgery!
My husband had broke both the tib and fib right below the knee. Almost broke through the skin.. Dr Gursky did an internal fixation. Where the bones had almost gone through was infected. The doctor's pa was the only one who came around. He almost died. I wouldn't refer anyone to him
Would highly recommend Dr. Gursky after my mom had her knee replaced. She developed a knocked knee, was reluctant to have the surgery because she recently moved from OH, and had her shoulder replaced at the Cleveland Clinic with excellent results. Naturally, she first wanted to go back to the CC. Dr. Gursky was recommended and we found that he, his staff, St. Francis, and the therapy prescribed are thorough and excellent as well. So grateful we found this high-level orthopedic care in Tulsa!
My husband had both knees replaced (1 @ a time). Has improved our quality of life x 100%. The greatest thing he gave us was hope for our tomorrow's. My nephew then used him for a knee repair, he was very happy with the work done for him.
Dr. Gursky replaced both my knees. He did a great job. When its time for my hips to be replaced I am really hoping he will be doiing the surgury
Dr Ryan Gursky is an awesome surgeon! He did a shoulder repair on me in 2014. I have better motion in my shoulder than most people in there 20's who have had it done by other surgeons. I have full range of motion and live a very active life style. This year he repaired a meniscus tear that would not heal on its own and a problem with my patella. I felt better after surgery than before I went in. I'm 4 days into post op and feel great. Thank you Dr Gursky
Dr Gursky performed a hip replacement on my wife in February with great results. He is performing a total knee replacement on me next week. Furthermore, he has an excellent reputation with the nurses that have experience with the surgeons.
